I became Habitat Choptank's Development and Communications Coordinator in August 2021. In my role, I get to share the stories of our homebuyers and invite people to be part of our mission through volunteering and donating.

What I love the most about Habitat Choptank is watching homebuyers become homeowners at their home dedications. My favorite part is always taking pictures of the moments when they receive their keys and they cut the ribbons on their front doors. I'm always humbled to be part of these memories by capturing them so that they can be cherished forever.

This year, Habitat Choptank joyfully celebrates its 30th anniversary. This organization has grown in many ways throughout its three decades, and we have big plans for its future. Since 1992, Habitat Choptank has made homeownership possible for over 100 families and has completed critical health and safety repairs in partnership with over 300 qualifying homeowners in Dorchester and Talbot Counties. By building and rehabbing homes, Habitat Choptank helps families achieve better health, financial freedom, independence, stability, and security.
 
Habitat Choptank is celebrating 30 years of building homes, community and hope in Talbot and Dorchester Counties in Maryland.
